2020 Mazda3 Sedan For Sale Near San Antonio

Now in the second year of its fourth generation, the Mazda3 Sedan receives a few changes for 2020. All sedans now come with the Mazda i-Activsense safety suite, which was formerly only standard on hatchback models and the upper sedan trims. i-Activsense features blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control. The 2020 Mazda3 is offered as a sedan or a hatchback at the San Antonio Mazda dealer and dealerships across the United States. We’ll concentrate on the Mazda3 sedan in this review.

The 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes in four packages instead of trim levels: base, Select, Preferred and Premium. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup and all models other than the base can get all-wheel drive as an option.

Autoblog wrote: “Completely redesigned last year, the 2020 Mazda3 pretty much carries over, continuing to be the connoisseur's choice for a compact car. For starters, its elegant sedan and unique hatchback body styles are considerably more stylish than expected for this segment. Park it next to a similarly priced Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla and people are likely to think you paid far more than you did. The same goes for the cabin, which is functional yet stylishly minimalist.”

EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2020 Mazda3 Sedan is rated at 26/35 mpg for front-wheel-drive models with the automatic transmission; 27/36 mpg with front-wheel drive, the automatic transmission and cylinder deactivation; and 25/33 mpg with all-wheel drive.*

The Mazda3 Sedan is one of the only cars in its class to offer AWD. The AWD system adds traction when driving on ice, snow and slippery roads. Mazda’s predictive AWD can adjust torque distribution when it’s needed to keep the wheels firmly on the road.

Inside, you’ll be inspired by the Mazda3 sedan’s upscale cabin, even on the base model, which features standard cloth seats and a stylish black interior. Most other models get synthetic leather seats, while the upper models get genuine leather. The interior is replete with soft-touch materials that cover the center armrest, door panels and dash. The infotainment system features an 8.8-inch viewscreen controlled by an easy-to-use rotary knob. The driver’s seat is comfortable, even on longer trims and the driver will appreciate the excellent outward visibility afforded by the seating position. There’s 13 cubic feet of storage space in the trunk, with 60/40-split rear seats that fold flat to provide even more room for cargo.

As of this writing, the 2020 Mazda3 Sedan has not yet been rated by the IIHS or the NHTSA. However, since the 2019 Mazda3 is essentially the same vehicle as the 2020 model, we expect the same results as last year, when the IIHS named the Mazda3 a Top Safety Pick and the NHTSA gave it the highest rating of five stars.
