More Information

The 2020 Mazda6 is a midsize sedan that continues to please buyers at dealers like the Castle Hills Mazda dealer. What makes the Mazda6 so popular? We don’t know where to start. Perhaps the most important attributes that distinguish the Mazda6 from the competition are its fun-to-drive nature, incredible comfort and long list of technology features. The Mazda6 gives buyers a lot of car for the money, with exciting styling and a well-appointed cabin that looks and feels like it belongs on in a luxury sedan. Anyone looking for a midsize sedan should place the 2020 Mazda6 at the top of their shopping list.

According to the Mazda dealer in Castle Hills, the 2020 Mazda6 comes in five trim levels, listed as Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve and Signature. The Sport and Touring trims are motivated by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. The Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trims are equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 250 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox.

Fuel efficiency is exceptional, with the base engine returning 26/35 mpg.* The turbocharged engine checks in with 23/31 mpg.*

The 2020 Mazda6 continues to garner positive reviews from the automotive media. Motor Trend wrote: “We’ve come to expect that Mazda vehicles will drive well, and that holds true with the Mazda6. The car’s construction feels substantial and solid, and it offers quick and composed handling. The suspension absorbs and deflects impacts effectively, and we’ve gone so far as to compare its overall feel to some German sedans.”

The 2020 Mazda6 has a nice set of standard features, including manually adjustable cloth seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, daytime running lights, dual-zone automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and Mazda’s G-Vectoring Control. The stereo system comes with six speakers, an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and USB ports. Standard driver-assist features include automatic high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking and forward-collision warning.

The Touring trim adds 19-inch alloys, a power moonroof, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two more USB ports for the backseat. Step up to the Grand Touring and you’ll get upgraded brakes and a Bose audio system with 11 speakers. The Grand Touring Reserve adds ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, genuine leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, adaptive headlights, a head-up display and more.

At the top of the trim-level ladder, the Signature trim gets amenities that include authentic Japanese Sen wood accents, Nappa leather, a configurable driver display, traffic-sign recognition, rear parking sensors and a 360-degree-camera system.

The 2020 Mazda6 sails through its safety tests with flying colors. The NHTSA gave the Mazda6 five-out-of-five stars for overall safety. The IIHS rated the Mazda6 with the top score of Good in all crash tests. The agency also named the 2020 Mazda6 one of its Top Safety Pick+ models.
